I’m proud because

2022 is Birmingham's year. It's the start of something big, bright and beautiful and a chance for us show off our bold city to the world.

Every area is different. From Digbeth, to the Jewellery Quarter, to Aston, to Erdington. ‘I’m proud because’ celebrates what we love about Birmingham as we lead up to the Commonwealth Games.

Whether it’s coordinating food parcels for the homeless, leading singing and art lessons with community groups, running a local and inclusive football club or welcoming and supporting refugees, Birmingham is proud because of its people.

We have drawn on the hearts and minds of those who live, visit and work in and around the city, to demonstrate exactly what Birmingham and its neighbourhoods are all about: its vitality, individuality, and diversity.
